When 1+1 does not equal 2...
I can prove that 1+1 does not equal 2:
A = B
A^2 = AB
A^2 - B^2 = AB - B^2
(A - B)(A + B) = B(A - B)
A + B = B
B + B = B
2B = B
2 = 1
Therefore 1 + 1 = 2 + 2, i.e. 1 + 1 = 4, not 2.
Email me if you can tell me why that proof doesn't
actually work (and maybe give me an actual case when
1+1 does not equal 2).
